License

This license is an agreement between you and UI Forge (Dejan Veljanoski) and applies to the GliaKit boilerplate, design system, Figma source, and AI rules files (together, “the kit”). Buying a license means you accept it. The short version: build anything you want with the kit — just don’t resell the kit itself.

What a license grants

One license covers one person. As a licensed builder you may:

— Use the kit in unlimited personal and commercial projects, including products you sell, SaaS you run, and client work.
— Modify, extend, and restyle everything: code, tokens, components, screens, and the Figma file.
— Use the kit with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, and similar). UI those tools generate from the kit inside your projects is covered by this license.
— Deliver end products built with the kit to clients. Your client owns the delivered product; they don’t need their own license unless their team will reuse the kit for other projects.

What a license does not grant

— You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the kit or any substantial part of it, whether paid or free.
— You may not republish the kit (or a derivative of it) as a boilerplate, starter, template, UI kit, component library, or theme — anything whose purpose is to pass the kit on to people who haven’t bought it.
— You may not share your download or repository access with people outside your license, or post the source publicly (for example in a public repo), except for small excerpts needed for bug reports or reviews.
— You may not use the kit to train or fine-tune a model or product whose purpose is to reproduce the kit for others.

Teams

Licenses are per builder: each person who works with the kit’s source needs one. For team licensing, email dejan@uiforge.designand we’ll sort it out simply.

The free Figma file

The free community release of the GliaKit design system may be used in unlimited personal and commercial design work. The same restriction applies: don’t republish or resell it as your own kit.

Ownership

The products you build are yours — we claim nothing in them. The kit itself (source, design system, documentation, and rules files) remains the intellectual property of UI Forge. This license is a right to use, not a transfer of ownership.

Updates and termination

A license includes lifetime updates to the product you purchased, delivered through your original access. The license is perpetual for versions you have received; it terminates automatically if you breach it, at which point you must stop distributing anything that violates the terms above. Products already shipped to end users are unaffected.
